Sauce Goddess Story
My love for cooking and years of experimenting on my friends and family (not mention a dare or two) led me to start Sauce Goddess in 2000. I originally started with 2 Grill Glaze sauces. My dedication to good ingredients means you'll only get real brown sugar, tomatoes, peppers and other spices with my glazes. It's been a true labor of love from the start. My Dad originally came up with a recipe for this type of sauce: I fell in love with it as a kid. He was a man in search of a non-smoky BBQ sauce. There nothing on the market like it, until now.
Sauce Goddess has grown and as of January 2005, our Grill Glazes are now available in 3 flavors, Sticky Sweet, Sweet & Spicy and Big Tangy Steak Sauce. The Sticky Sweet and the Sweet & Spicy varieties are very similar, sweet yummy flavor with a sneaky heat in the Spicy one. They are both obscenely good on chicken and ribs. The newest addition Big Tangy Steak Sauce Grill Glaze is totally different with tangy and bold tomato and pepper flavors that go well with a thick juicy steak. All our products are vegan, and have no added preservatives.
We're very proud of the awards we've won with our Sweet & Spicy Grill Glaze, 3rd place 2004 Fiery Food Challenge and 2nd place in the 2005 Scovie Competition. We're constantly thinking of new products to add. Any other suggestions, please let me know!
