AWARD-WINNING SAUCE GODDESS HOLDS NATIONAL "RECIPLEASE" CONTEST
San Diego, CA, May 23, 2005
Sauce Goddess announces a summer "reciplease" contest. The company's products, Grill Glaze, are based on an old family recipe. Sauce Goddess founder, Jennifer Reynolds, says "people use our sauces in so many different ways that it's just seemed like a fun idea to find out exactly what can be done with the sauces. I've been told someone actually put in on ice cream."
The characteristic sweet and spicy flavors are brown sugar and tomato based, with no smoke flavor at all. "We leave that smoky taste to the wood you cook with. I like a clean flavor with a little heat... or a little more heat if you're talking about our Spicy Grill Glaze," says Reynolds.
The newest product, Big Steak Grill Glaze, has a very different tangy flavor. It's zesty and has loads of tomato, cider vinegar and black pepper flavors. Reynolds enthusiastically says, " I love the Big Steak. It's just awesome on a big rib-eye or tri-tip -- leaves the meat juicy and tender with a great zing of flavor. I want to see the reciplease that get submitted with that one!"
Sauce Goddess products are available on-line direct, or through select retailers nationwide. "Reciplease" contest rules and prize information are available on line at www.saucegoddess.com . In addition to the contest, Sauce Goddess offers free t-shirts and promotional material to consumers and retailers alike.
